"From beginning to end The Great British Awning Company made the process of planning, purchasing and the installation of our patio awning a breeze.

Firstly, Matt Black (and yes that is his real name!) visited us to discuss what The Great British Awning Company could do for us. We wanted an awning which could extend over the majority of our patio and the pros and cons were discussed. We were shown demonstration models along with fabric samples and an explanation about why their product was worth the money. We eventually settled on a 5m wide with a 4m extension.

A few weeks later (delayed due to sickness) Tom visited to survey the site, this included checking our walls would support the awning's mount. Tom measured up leaving small discreet marks ready for the installation team. Tom was a pleasure to meet and only enhanced the feeling that we had made the right choice.

A few more weeks went by while the awning was being constructed but a phone call told us that it would be ready for installation the following week. Hooray!

So we'll now get to the 'Steves'! Steve and Steve turned up at the appointed time and ready to get going with the installation. They were polite, efficient, and knew their job inside out. They were respectful of our property at all times and left the patio in exactly the same condition they found it, with the exception of a large awning now fitted to the back of the house. Steve (one of them) gave instructions on the basic operation of the awning along with some do's and don'ts. They made sure we were perfectly happy with the installation before they left and frankly we couldn't be happier.

The Great British Awning Company give a 10 year warranty which was one of the main reasons we bought from them. From looking at their product up close and the way it was fitted I believe that they absolutely believe in the product they supply and that 10 years is a very achievable timeframe.
